In 2022, video games with a PEGI 3 rating recorded the highest share of sales volume in Italy. Specifically, video games ranked PEGI 3 − namely unsuitable for players aged under three − accounted for approximately 29 percent of all video games sold in Italy in the selected year. The PEGI (Pan European Game Information) is a European video game content rating system helping consumers in Europe make decisions on buying computer games.
